We are the Lake San Marcos Club of the San Diego County Democratic Party. Our purpose is to foster democratic ideals by stimulating active interest in the Democratic Party, to support the party platform, to contribute to party leadership, to provide a constructive role for the volunteer in Democratic Party politics, and to promote an activist base.

Membership is open to voters who are registered as Democrat or Declined to State. We invite you to join us at our meetings.

Our meetings are held on the 2nd Saturday afternoon of every month at the Pavilion in Lake San Marcos, 1105 La Bonita Drive. Anyone can attend any of our meetings. For a map of the location of the meeting, click here.

No February Meeting due to California Democratic Convention:

The 2012 California Democratic Convention will take place Friday, February 10 through 12, 2012 at the San Diego Convention Center. This promises to be an exciting event as Democrats gear up to re-elect President Obama, return Dianne Feinstein to the U.S. Senate and make sure California does its part to once again make Nancy Pelosi Speaker of the House! Join us in San Diego for a weekend jam-packed with workshops, hospitality suites, trainings, special guest speakers and networking with committed Democrats across the state. Party endorsements for State Assembly, State Senate and Congressional candidates will take place, along with the adoption of the Party platform. This is an excellent opportunity for us to attend the State Convention without having to travel a long distance. Since the convention is the same date as our regularly scheduled meeting time (second Saturday of the month) we have decided to NOT have a meeting in February so that everyone can attend the convention without a conflict.

MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS DUE JAN. 1, 2012:
It’s time to renew your 2012 membership in the LSM Democratic Club. We need your support to fund our many club activities, including Scholarships to the San Marcos High Schools and donations to candidates supported by the Club. Renewals are $15 for one individual.
